Avalon History
In 1967 Ray Wilson first began delighting customers with imported products they’d only dreamt of. In the early 1990’s Ray’s son Grahame and daughter Jeannette joined the business bringing a background in software support, design & retail merchandising. The company grew to incorporate toys, craft and activity kits, souvenirs and promotional goods.
In 2020, as world trade changed, Avalon innovated again, enlarging its distribution to even more of New Zealand’s leading retailers in multiple categories. With tight budgets everywhere, we source value brands, supported by a strong sales team and wonderful customer service.
